Nikki-Poteri Collie is the General Manager, Industrial & Energy – East for Downer’s Industrial & Energy Business Unit.

Nikki commenced her career as a civil design draftsperson with the Queensland Water Resources Commission and was the first woman employed in an engineering role in that organisation.

Since then, in a career spanning over 20 years, she has held executive roles with major Tier 1 providers including Downer, Thiess and Seqwater. Her experience extends from financial management and corporate strategy to operations, tendering, business development, acquisitions and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to her current role, Nikki was appointed General Manager Power & Energy for Downer’s Asset Services business in November 2022. She previously held senior roles at Downer including General Manager - Finance, Strategy and Growth and General Manager - Operational Assurance. 

Nikki is a Director on the Board of Healthy Land and Water and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland, and an associate Diploma in Civil Engineering from QUT.
