Today, Downer launched Innovation Hub.

Innovation Hub is a digital place for passionate people across Downer to share and discover ideas, collaborate with colleagues and see innovation brought to life.

We believe that no idea is too small or too big to be innovative, and this new platform ensures we remain at the forefront of our industry by bringing together a community of real Downer people, collaborating on real ideas to deliver real solutions for our business and customers alike.

With its own form of mock-currency, Innovation Hub introduces typical game-play elements into the innovation process to boost engagement across the business. Employees are rewarded when they share or invest in ideas, as well as contribute at different stages of the process. While it’s an effective way to drive innovation, let’s be honest; it’s a heap of fun, too!
