DM Roads is delighted to announce that it has recently been awarded a major traffic signal maintenance contract with Moreton Bay Regional Council.
The contract officially commenced on November 1st and will initially run until June 2023 with the provision for further extensions.
Under the contract, the DM Roads team will provide vital services to the entire Moreton Bay Council Region of over 2,042 km² including routine maintenance and servicing of over 140 sets of traffic signals, 24-hour monitoring and emergency callout, pit repairs and replacements.
DM Roads will be Moreton Bay’s first ever provider of world class asset management using its ISO 55001 certified Asset Management Information System known as AMIS to provide in-depth reporting of Moreton Bay’s traffic functions.
Queensland ITS Manager, Sam Keim commented, “We are excited to bring this new and innovative approach to Moreton Bay and improve the experience of road users in the region. This contract will significantly grow our footprint in Queensland and it’s a testament to our expertise and ability to enhance transport systems across Australia.”
Project Manager, Adrian Linsdell added, “We are currently looking to hire skilled local electricians and electrical apprentices to support the contract. At DM Roads, we pride ourselves on supporting local employment and the local supply chain.”
DM Roads has been responsible for the successful delivery of routine and programmed maintenance services to the North Coast District since 2013, including the City of Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Somerset Council.
