Are you ready to explore the world of engineering?
The Downer Summer Intern Program offers engineering students a structured 12-week journey packed with hands-on job training, valuable work experience , and a firsthand glimpse into the contracting world, supporting the 800 hours needed for engineering students to Graduate their degree. It also serves as an excellent pathway to our Graduate Program.
From assisting our maintenance crews, working on construction projects, working in the Lab to supporting tender submissions, our summer interns dive into various tasks, gaining deeper insights into the industry while making meaningful contributions to our business.
We're seeking future leaders who are eager to showcase their abilities, cultivate leadership skills, stay self-motivated, and thrive on daily challenges. Interns who excel may secure full-time positions in the Downer graduate program or return for subsequent summers if still studying.
