CCNZ Auckland Branch Awards – Projects over $25M category

Downer NZ and Soletanche Bachy JV (DSBJV) took home the projects over $25M category award for City Rail Link Ltd C1 – Britomart. The project included the construction of twin rail tunnels beneath the historic CPO building ; on reclaimed marine mud land and next to an operating railway in New Zealand’s largest rail station.

This presented some major hurdles for the team, and overcoming these challenges led to several New Zealand-first initiatives and a legacy of skills for the New Zealand construction industry.
