Downer is one of Australia’s most experienced asset maintenance providers in the power and energy sector, delivering services to oil, gas and power generation customers around the country.

We’re committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers, helping them navigate the rapidly changing power and energy sector, while continuing to manage their important assets.

We provide maintenance and outage services essential in running Australia’s power stations, servicing customers that supply 80 per cent of the National Electricity Market (NEM), and directly maintain more than 18 gigawatts of generation for the NEM.

In the oil and gas space, we provide maintenance, shutdown, turnaround and outage services, and offer end-to-end asset management services for customers in Coal Seam Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas industry, as well as terminals, refineries and petrochemical plants. 

Downer delivers over 130 shutdowns each year, including major and minor shutdowns and forced outages. Our skilled teams also provide specialist services in pressure welding, scaffolding, turbines, generators and mechanical engineering.

Deeply committed to sustainability, Downer also operates and maintains four commercial solar farms with a generating capacity of 365 megawatts.
