Downer EDI Limited (Downer) is proud to announce its subsidiary, Spotless, has been awarded the contract to provide maintenance services for the SA Housing Authority (SAHA) social housing portfolio across four Adelaide metropolitan areas.

Commencement: January 2023

There are a number of exciting roles and opportunities that Downer is currently recruiting for.

Regional Managers

Accountable for the responsive, planned or project works delivered within the scope of work. Included in this will be the establishment and maintenance of client relationships, effective management of Works Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure service levels are met plus the budgets, cost alternatives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Solid experience managing and delivering planned works program in a similar role and/or industry
Experienced in the delivery of contracts where Service Delivery Partners (SDP’s) are used to deliver services.
Experienced in managing, monitoring and evaluating the performance of SDP’s
Experience in building and construction management
Ability to monitor, evaluate and review contracts and understanding of project management principles.
Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills and can communicate to all levels.
An understanding of quality systems and principles.

Area Work Supervisors

Responsible for the scoping and effective delivery of works including the management of subcontractor performance.

Solid experience managing and delivering planned works program in a similar role and/or industry
Experienced in the delivery of contracts where Service Delivery Partners (SDP’s) are used to deliver services.
Experienced in managing, monitoring and evaluating the performance of SDP’s
Experience in building and construction management
Ability to monitor, evaluate and review contracts and understanding of project management principles.

Operations Support Group

Responsible for providing work order management and administrative support by coordinating with all the relevant stakeholders to provide timely and efficient customer service.

WHS / Quality Manager

The WHS/Quality Manager will ensure the entire Contract Team & Service Delivery Partners follow the formal operating procedures established for the South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA) Maintenance Works and Services Contract.
