The Australian Building and Construction Commission has issued Downer with statements of compliance for their respective industrial arrangements. 

Prequalification 

Downer has National Prequalification for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction in the following areas:

• B3 – Bridgeworks
• S - Sealing
• F150+ - Financial 

Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia 

ISCA administers a rating scheme for infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand that evaluates sustainability across Governance, Economic, Environmental and Social domains.

Downer received an ‘Excellent’ rating for the North West Roads Maintenance contract in Tasmania.

The North West contract is the first ISCA rating for Tasmania, and the first ‘Excellent’ rating ever awarded for a road maintenance contract.

Regulation

The activities of Downer’s Mowbray and Lindisfarne asphalt plants are regulated by Tasmania’s Environment Protection Authority (EPA).

Lindisfarne asphalt plant EPA Environment Protection Notice Number is: 9413

Registration

The Mowbray and Lindisfarne asphalt plants’ testing laboratories are registered and accredited with the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA).

Lindisfarne asphalt plant NATA accreditation number is: 5064
