Terminals and refineries

We provide a full range of services to the terminals and refining industry, including structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) and electrical and instrumentation (E&I) capital works and maintenance including fuel storage capability expansion.

We have operated as a maintenance partner for Australian refineries in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, and supported multiple major turnarounds and sustaining capital construction over the last 10 years.

Petrochemical

Downer is currently operating as an SMP maintenance and shutdown service provider at one of Australia’s largest petrochemical manufacturing facilities in Queensland. In addition to ongoing maintenance services, Downer has executed both major and minor outages and supported capital projects.

We recently completed an ammonia improvement project consisting of off-site skid fabrication and brownfield installation. Downer has previously worked at petrochemical facilities throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
