Downer's workplace giving program Down2You

Downer is committed to supporting the success of the communities we operate in.

As one of Australia's largest employers, we understand that we have a great opportunity to contribute positively to society. We honour this responsibility by focusing on making a difference through partnerships, sponsorships and donations.

A key pillar of Downer's Corporate Philanthropy Strategy is our Workplace Giving Program, which enables employees to make regular donations to four pre-selected charities from their pre-tax pay. This makes it easier and more cost-effective for our people to support those in need - plus Downer will match our employees' donations, meaning every dollar they give will stretch further and help more people.

Downer launched our workplace giving program to new starters in December 2021 and will open the program to all employees in early 2022. All money raised through the program will be dispersed evenly to the following four charity partners.
