Downer Pride Pledge announcement

Downer Group is excited to announce its partnership with Pride Pledge, reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe and supportive workplace for all LGBTTQIA+ employees.

The Pride Pledge is a values-based commitment, that organisations make to demonstrate its dedication to safety, visibility, and inclusion for rainbow communities both internally and externally.

They are New Zealand’s largest network of rainbow-inclusive organisations supporting more than 300 organisations across Australia and New Zealand. They offer strategic direction, support resources, and monthly opportunities for connecting with other organisations.

Veronika Dimitrova, General Manager of Talent and Culture, shared “Taking the Pride Pledge is more than just a commitment for us, it's a promise we are making to our employees and the wider community about being a truly inclusive workplace. This collaboration allows Downer to continue to expand its rainbow community network and the support we offer.
