Protecting Aotearoa’s wai
01/12/2022
As kaitiaki of Aotearoa’s wai (water) our colleagues in Water & Automation ensure that three waters services continue to flow to homes, schools and businesses across Aotearoa. Through their mahi, they provide safe drinking water to a quarter of New Zealand’s population, maintain safe swimming water for our local communities, and work around the clock to resume water services when a weather crisis hits.
GM – Water & Automation, Bjorn Triplow, says: “As New Zealand’s largest Water & Automation provider, I am extremely proud to lead such a great team that has a massive impact on our local communities. Our capability to deliver three waters services across the full asset lifecycle, means that we operate and maintain more than 400 wastewater treatment plants across the country. We work across 25 plus locations from the far North down to Stewart Island, and our Water & Automation team continues to grow.”
“Through partnering with cities, rural communities, tangata whenua and industry, our team are extremely proud to build Aotearoa’s three waters infrastructure for generations to come.”
