The Downer Maryborough Service Delivery Centre (MSDC)
Delivers whole-of-life asset management from a single, integrated site in Queensland. From component overhaul and fleet modification to structural fabrication and life extension programs, MSDC brings together the capability to deliver complex work end-to-end.
We work with customers through long-term, program-based partnerships, supporting consistent performance, cost control and reliable delivery over time.
Located on the Fraser Coast, the site has access to road, rail and port, supporting efficient mobilisation and delivery across Queensland and nationally.
Rollingstock Overhaul
Complete customisable Overhaul for all kind of rolling stock according to customer requirement in close cooperation with customers. Type testing and back in service certificate included.
Bogie Overhaul Line
Complete Bogie Overhaul from dismantling and cleaning weld inspections to structural maintenance, painting and assembling and testing.
Wheelset Overhaul Line
Wheel and gearbox workspace; wheel press and centre lathe equipment, Asquith C.N.C universal machine centre underpins our already extensive heavy machining capabilities, allowing unparalleled accuracy when machining to customer required tolerances.
Component Overhaul Centre
Multi-disciplinary workshop supports overhaul of pneumatic and electric components as well as looms and harnesses. Solutions include, working from rotatable pools of components, with the support of clean rooms and testing facilities.
