This initiative provides a platform for our employees to nominate charitable organisations and causes for financial donations from Downer. This giving program provides donations to local charities making a positive impact to the local communities we live and work within.

It gives our people a meaningful opportunity to connect and engage with our local communities through team-based activities. It provides teams of employees with a chance to give back to the communities they call home and making a positive impact right where they live and work.

We know how important family is to our people, and that further education can help grow the next generation of leaders. Downer’s Family Scholarships initiative allows the children and grandchildren of Downer employees the chance to be granted a $5,000 scholarship to go towards a year of tertiary study in any field.
