Technical capability
  • Up to 16 independent weighing channels
  • Rail mounted transducers – Weighline or Streamline
  • TSR4000 Processing unit
  • Wheel sensors – Low or High speed
  • A.V.I. (Automatic Vehicle Identification) tag reading system
  • PC-based data handling system – iLine2
Speed of operation
  • Transducers will operate within a speed range of 0.1km/h to 110km/h.
  • Transducers are trafficable at unlimited speeds without damaging the system’s on-going metrological performance.
  • The system will calculate and display average wagon speed, in km/h to one decimal place.
System accuracy

Using Weighline transducers trains can be weighed to an accuracy of:

  • Better than OIML Class 1 (+/-0.5% total train weight) up to 80km/h
  • Better than OIML Class 2 (+/-1.0% total wagon / axle weight) up to 80km/h.
System regulatory compliance

OIML Certificate of Compliance. The equipment offered in this RFP complies with the following OIML recommendations:

  • Weighline System – OIML R106 Automatic Rail Weighbridges
  • Weighline System – NMI Certificate of Approval No 6/14H/5
