Downer delivers specialist drilled piling, driven piling, and ground improvement services throughout New Zealand.

Our piling team is equipped to manage complex foundation piles, retention systems, and ground improvement solutions for civil and commercial projects, as well as large infrastructure developments. Our expertise covers a wide range of applications, including roads, bridge foundations, retaining walls, bridge strengthening and widening, temporary works, sheet piling and staging, water retaining structures, slip repairs, and rail infrastructure.

Our capabilities include:

• Drilled Piling: bored piles up to 48m deep, Continuous Flight Auger (CFA), and displacement auger up to 25m
• Driven Piling: 206kNm impact hammers, vibro hammers, sheet piling
• Ground Improvements: all forms, including rigid inclusions.
