Since November 2014, Downer has proudly delivered comprehensive maintenance services to approximately 22,500 public housing dwellings across Perth’s North and East Metropolitan regions.

Under this long-term contract, Downer provides reactive, cyclical, and quoted maintenance works, ensuring safe and well-maintained homes for Western Australians.

Operating with a 100% subcontractor delivery model, Downer partners with 76 Service Delivery Partners (SDPs) across 13 trade categories, including: carpentry; plumbing; electrical; air conditioning; and asbestos removal. This approach supports local businesses and promotes workforce diversity, creating opportunities for apprentices, trainees, and Indigenous businesses.

A dedicated contract delivery team based in the Perth metropolitan area oversees contract performance and stakeholder engagement. Their commitment ensures high-quality service delivery and strong community outcomes.
