We’re proud to announce that Sydney Water has renewed its contract with Confluence Water, a joint venture consisting of Downer, Ventia and Jacobs, for a further five years.

Confluence Water currently delivers design, construction and maintenance facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

It is also responsible for the maintenance, renewal and upgrade of existing assets in the region, as well as the construction of new assets, such as pipelines, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants.

Neal Firth, EGM Water, said Downer announced the 10-year contract worth approximately $2 billion in 2019, with a review at the five year mark to assess performance.

“This announcement is a strong endorsement of the way Confluence Water has brought a commitment to driving innovation in design, construction and asset management to Sydney Water.

“We’re honoured to renew our long term partnership with Sydney Water as we continue to work alongside Ventia and Jacobs in delivering vital water services for the growing region of Northern Sydney,” said Neal.
